A word of desolation

The fourth word Jesus spoke from the cross was the worst. It revealed how utterly alone Jesus was in his death struggle with Satan.
This battle was fought not with swords or spears, light sabers or lightning bolts, energy blasts or physical strength. The battleground was in the mind of Christ himself, where he fought Satan’s temptations alone and physically exhausted. He had been abandoned by his disciples (save one), condemned by the religious leaders of his own people, and condemned by the Roman government that was supposed to dispense justice.
All Satan had to do was get him to sin once. Just once. Satan was whispering constantly that the foolish mortals on earth were vermin not worth dying for, that there were far easier ways to do this. Just one little act of rebellion against his Father. And now the Father had abandoned him! “From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?’ (which means ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’)” (Matthew 27:45,46). Why? Jesus knew why. Because he alone had agreed to pay the price for human sin. What he was really crying out was his shock at how awful it was to have God turn his back on you and withdraw all love, mercy, hope, and support.

HELL is described in GOD’S Words, the Bible as a place of torment, outer darkness, and “weeping and gnashing of teeth” in Matthew 8:12b... It’s “where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched” Mark 9:44...
Now the Good News: God does not want you to go to hell!!!
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:9...
The World would like everyone to believe that there are many ways to Heaven... Let me be very clear when I say, God provided the only absolute way to be saved from hell!!!

Trust in Jesus Christ to save you!!!

Jesus said that whoever “cometh to me I will in no wise cast out” John 6:37b... “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:13...

Why not pray and ask Him???
“JESUS, I now admit that I am a sinner headed for hell, and I ask You to forgive me of all my sins. I now cease to rely on myself, my religion, or anything I might do to save myself. I now know and believe that You died on the cross for my sins, You were buried, and You arose the third day. I now trust in You as my Savior. Thank You, Lord Jesus.”

Try making Grilled Vegetables Foil Pack for an easy idea to add to your grilling or baking recipes. They are healthy, frugal and so simple to prepare.
Ingredients
- 2 zucchini or squash thickly sliced
- ½ red onion cut into chunks
- 1 red bell pepper cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper cut into chunks
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Lay out 1 sheets of foil.
- Mix the vegetables together on the foil.
- Then drizzle with the olive oil.
- sprinkle with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
- Fold up the foil, making a foil packet.
- Place packets on the grill for about 5 to 8 minute flipping once in the middle.
